Tools Overview

The significant difference in our training program as that you receive exclusive access to the licensing rights to use a set of practical application, retirement plan marketing and service tools to enhance and build your business – The 401k Service Solution™. In their current form, these tools are powerful and require no aditional changes to integrate them into your business service model (aside from possible compliance requested changes). However, there are options you can explore to make the tools look and feel more like your current brand.

Option 1 – Onsite Training and Customization

Our training program can be customized for your company. If you have a group of 10 or more we can conduct an on-site training program that meets the needs and compliance requirements of your organization. The tools can be pre-approved through your compliance department with disclaimers and company logo added, if desired. To explore this option further, contact us.

Option 2 – Private Label and Custom Options

If you are a large organization that wants to provide your advisors with a turn-key marketing and service process, you should consider this option. Private-labeling involves changing the tools to incorporate all six plan management issues, in a format that looks like a unique process you developed. This would be an option for large organizations that want to incorporate a complete marketing and service process for their advisors, but want the tools to look and feel like a private-label company product. Option 3 – Customize the Tools Yourself as a Course Graduate and PPC™ Designee

With a few changes, you can customize the 401k Service Solution™ tools yourself to look like your own company branded product. Several PPC’s have shared with us their customized version of the tools, making changes as simple as adding questions to certain worksheets and adding their logo and contact info, to extensive changes like changing the background color and pictures and format of the tools. Note: With the licensing rights to use the tools, you are welcome to make any changes to them to give them a branded look and feel. (Also note that changes are referred to as ‘derivative works’ and are covered in the licensing agreement as copyrighted property of FSS.)

Option 4 – Let FSS Customize The Tools For You!

For those of you who would rather have your staff concentrate on marketing or other aspects of servicing your plans, FSS offers three custom options and can do the work for you.

1. We will drop in your logo, contact information, and any disclaimers on all 200+ templates and provide you with a data CD of the customized tools. (Cost: $2,500.00). View the Custom Order Form for this option.

2. We can change the entire color scheme to match your brand, change out pictures, add your logo, contact info and disclaimers, as well as select wording you want to use in various locations in lieu of PPC language on all templates and provide you with printed copies and a data CD. 3. Private Label—This option is the method by which we completely change the look and feel of the course books, worksheets, and summaries including naming, overall templates, etc. to have a look and feel completely different than the current set of tools, while maintaining the integrity of the six critical issues.
